Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager or DSP Dispatcher to lead and manage our delivery operations team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient delivery of Amazon packages in a high-demand and fast-paced environment.
This role will require strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a focus on achieving operational excellence.
This is a Hybrid-Remote position - responsibilities include work from home

Responsibilities:
Leadership - Lead and mentor a team of delivery drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff.
- Provide clear direction, support, and motivation to ensure team performance meets or exceeds operational goals.
- Work with Dispatch to maintain efficient delivery routes, schedules, and operational procedures.
- Create a weekly schedule that fills all assigned routes and ensures all routes get completed - Monitor and improve delivery performance, tracking KPIs such as on-time delivery rates, package integrity, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations, company policies, and Amazon's operational guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety training and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
- Optimize load-out procedures by working with dispatchers and drivers to quickly and efficiently start all daily routes.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach, ensuring that all customers receive their packages on time and in excellent condition.
Fleet Management - Manage the company's fleet of delivery vehicles, including maintenance, inspections, and scheduling.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
- Develop and manage budgets for operations, including labor, transportation, and maintenance expenses.
- Monitor and control operational costs to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and continuously improve operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in logistics, operations management, or a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using logistics and fleet management software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
